THIS TRAINING SESSION....
This training
is part of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension Crop Management
Winter Programs. Trainers are from the UNL faculty and the agricultural
industry. The clinics provide an unbiased approach by highly skilled
trainers.
Pesticide Application
Technology will provide you with an in-depth understanding of the
many factors involved with applying pesticides. Those attending
the workshop will learn methods of application of pesticides, deposition
requirements for various pesticides, preparing spray mixtures, applying
fry and wet formulations and applications in different environments.
Better understand why two people can apply the same pesticide yet
one is more successful in controlling the pests.This workshop will
also include plenty of hands on experience from calibrations to
nozzle selection to mixing of spray solutions. It will feature a
wide array of equipment including traditional agricultural as well
as professional turf and landscape equipment.
Also available
for academic credit (Agro/Hort 896). Please note that due to the
hands-on nature of this course it will not be available via distance
(internet, satellite, or video tapes). You must physically attend
this workshop.

This session
provides detailed instruction for new employees preparing to take
the CCA exam and serves as an excellent refresher course for experienced
personnel. Courses are taught by University and Industry specialists.
This educational training is up-to-date and specifically designed
to furnish employees the necessary knowledge, expertise and confidence
to fulfill the requirements of their employment.
Fee
for this workshop is $250. REGISTER UP TO 1-WEEK IN ADVANCE &
SAVE $50 - you pay only $200.
Fees include
lunch, refreshment breaks, and all workshop materials. Also included
in the registration fee is a course instruction manual which is
yours to take home with you. The reference materials are an excellent
resource for use in your profession. Registration fees do not include
the cost of your lodging. No refunds will be given after early registration
