This training is part of the NU Integrated Crop Management Winter Programs. Trainers are from the NU faculty and the agricultural industry. The clinics provide an unbiased approach by highly skilled trainers.

Topics include how soils develop and vary, physical and chemical characteristics of soils, relationship between soil and fertilizer nitrogen, soil and fertilizer phosphorus relationship, macronutrients (potassium, calcium, magnesium and sulfur), micronutrients (seven essential elements), and soil sampling principles.

Presenters include NU Extension Educators Jim Peterson, Paul Hay, Keith Glewen, and Gary Zoubek.

Early registration is recommended as some classes have limited space. Fee for this workshop is $75. REGISTER 1-WEEK IN ADVANCE & SAVE $10! Register by December 1, 2003 and the fee is $65.
