This training is part of the NU Integrated Crop Management Winter Programs. Trainers are from the NU faculty and the agricultural industry. The clinics provide an unbiased approach by highly skilled trainers.

Topics include plant growth and development - how plant roots work, fertilizer recommendation philosophies, use of manure in soil fertility, choosing a yield goal, soil management with tillage (compaction and tillage systems), and precision agriculture in soil management (yield data processing and yield maps).

Presenters include Dr. Richard Ferguson, University of Nebraska Extension Soils Specialist; Dr. David Tarkalson, University of Nebraska Extension Soil Specialist; and Dr. Charles Wortmann, University of Nebraska Extension Soils Specialist.

Early registration is recommended as some classes have limited space. Fee for this workshop is $75. REGISTER 1-WEEK IN ADVANCE & SAVE $10! Register by December 2, 2003 and the fee is $65.
