ARDC Research Highlights Report   The scope and diversity of ongoing research projects at UNL’s Agricultural Research and Development Center (ARDC) combines to make the site one of the most unique research facilities in the United States. The ARDC is a major research and education facility of the Agricultural Research Division of the University of Nebraska’s Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources (IANR). The size and diversity of the Center offers many research and educational opportunities. This report provides a glimpse of the range of projects and programs currently taking place at the ARDC.

Nebraska Soybean and Feed Grains Profitability Project

The Nebraska Soybean and Feed Grains Profitability Project is an on-farm research project designed to provide farm operators with an understanding of how to conduct crop research on their farms using their own machinery. Comparisons are scientifically designed, statistically analyzed and conducted for three years to assure reliable, useful information.

* ATTENTION: Hwy 63 has changed to Hwy. 66 Effective October 24, 2005 - Highway 63 has officially changed to Highway 66. This is the highway that takes you to the UNL-ARDC August N. Christenson Research and Education Building. For more information, contact the Nebraska Department of Roads.

* Hunting Infomation - All hunters must register with the ARDC in order to hunt on the premises. Please call the ARDC at 402-624-8000 for information. To view the ARDC hunting policy, click here.

  • NO HUNTING where crops and livestock are still in field
  • NO HUNTING in areas signed: "NO HUNTING".
  • Stay on main roads only

Deer bow hunting is allowed in controlled hunting areas open Sept. 15 - Nov. 14, 2009 and Nov. 24 - Dec. 31, 2009 ONLY. Download the map here.
